Ring Ring Goes The Bell

Bring back the harmonica in schools. Teach them blues and country licks. Throw out the recorder, ukuleles and triangles! Just saying!

  1. Priceless photographs! The expressions are awesome. ‘The eyes have it’ right hand lad looking skywards. Thanking the heavens and realising he is blessed. That’s why the word ‘harp’ is relevant I suppose. Your spot on re: recorders. I was playing one the other day. Found it in a box in the attic/loft. I can play a simple tune or three, but it still sounds horribly shrill. They are truly discordant in sound values! Cheers Shep.

  2. Great idea, Shep. You should have suggested it years ago! At my age, I would appreciate going to a class at U3A if someone started it. I am sure there would be a demand if it were offered.
